Analysis of Transparency Indicators in the Romanian Capital Market
Transparency is a fundamental pillar for the efficient functioning of any capital market. In the current economic context, the analysis of public data and reports of listed companies becomes essential for investors and for the entire financial ecosystem.
This article examines the evolution of transparency indicators for the main entities listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange over the past year. By methodically studying communications, financial reports, and the level of access to information, we can identify trends and critical points that require attention.
Methodology and Data
The analysis was based on a set of objective criteria, including the timeliness of report publication, the level of detail of the information provided, as well as accessibility for the general public. Data was collected from official sources and processed to provide the clearest possible picture.
The results indicate a general improvement in transparency, with a significant increase in the number of companies adopting international reporting standards. However, there remain areas, such as social and environmental impact reporting (ESG), where there is considerable potential for development.
The conclusion of the study emphasizes the continued importance of collective efforts to strengthen market confidence through increased transparency and rigorous analysis of economic data.
